Symposium K
Advanced Thermoset, Thermoplastic, And Hybrid Composites for Sustainable
Structural Materials
Our two successful three symposia organized in 2015, 2017, & 2019 were focused mostly on nano/micro-scale composites and hybrid materials. In this symposium, we plan to expand the scale thermoplastic composites which are the current state-of-the-art structural materials aimed at future sustainable initiatives. Both structural and functional aspects of these materials will be covered with a strong emphasis on advanced designs, sustainability, recycling, and composites based on green chemistry. Composite materials for emerging applications include energy, aerospace, sports, and future healthcare.
• Composites designs for sustainability, recycling, and green chemistry initiatives.
• Emerging applications include in structural composites.
• Advanced manufacturing of thermoplastic and hybrid composites
• Advanced production strategies for of thermoset composites
• Recovery and recycling of thermoset composites and fibers
